Apr. 18, 1919 - Oct. 14, 2013 EDMOND Clay Eugene Garrett was born April 18, 1919, in Randlett, OK, to parents Rollins & Hallie Garrett and passed away October 14, 2013, in Edmond, OK. Clay led fascinating life that took him to Hollywood, CA, and all across the world. He was a proud WWII Army Veteran, pilot, and Fram Corporation retiree.He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Constance Denise; son, Steve; daughter-in-law, Cathy; son, Gary; and sister, Bonnie. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joan; daughter, Sandra Rodes and family; grandsons, David & wife Jessica and Danny & wife Ashley; niece, Melanie Pralle; and dear friend, Susan Connett.Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Wednesday, 9am-8pm. Funeral services will be 10am, Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Steve Garrett Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Central Oklahoma.For a much more extensive biography, please visit Clay's online memorial at
