June 15, 1927 - April 5, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Clifford "Pete" Huff, Msgt USAF Retired, was born on June 15, 1927, in Delaware, AR. Pete began his military career in 1946 as a Marine and then joined the Air Force in 1948. He proudly served in the USAF and loved the Air Force way of life. He met and married his wife, Rita, while serving in England in 1954. After retiring from the Air Force in 1971, he was employed at Capitol Steel in OKC. Pete loved camping and fishing on Lake Tenkiller, horse racing and his family. He fought a courageous battle with Alzheimer's with the tireless devotion of his wife, Rita. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hayward and Ola Huff; son, Glenn Huff; and brother, Leroy Huff. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Rita; daughter, Lee Ann Shumard and husband Randy; granddaughter, Chelsea and husband Jeremiah; grandson, Wesley Shumard; and two great-grandchildren, Addison and Hudson Jeansonne.
