July 15, 1943 - March 21, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY Freddy Lee Davis, of Oklahoma City, passed away at Integris Hospice House Friday, March 21, 2014, at the age of 70. Freddy was born July 15, 1943 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents, Roger and Rosetta (Jefferson) Davis. Freddy graduated from New Lima High School in 1961. He went on to Langston University for a short period of time before being drafted into the Army. He fought in the Vietnam War and received many military commendation and medals. He received an Associate degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Rose State University. Freddy is survived by his son, Freddy Davis Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas and his daughter, Kellye (Davis) Woodfork (Samuel) of Norman, Oklahoma, two grandchildren, Samuel Woodfork Jr. and Sydnie Woodfork. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Immanuel Fellowship Church in Seminole, Oklahoma at 3103 Highway #3 North. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Pastor Zenephor Overstreet will be officiating at the service.
