Dec 7, 1933 - Sept 12, 2013 YUKON Life LegacyHarold Gene Brady, 79, was born December 7, 1933, in Sayre, Oklahoma, to Cecil Raymond & Faye (Madden) Brady. He passed away on September 12, 2013, in Yukon, Oklahoma. Harold grew up in Yukon. In January of 1952, he entered the U.S. Navy, served during the Korean War, and was honorably discharged in January of 1956, having attained a rank of E-3. After his discharge from the Navy, Harold worked as a Millwright for General Motors. Harold is survived by his wife of 34 years, Martha Brady; son, John Brady and family, of Arlington, TX; daughter, Christine Welsh and family, of Dayton, OH; brother, Alan Johnson and family, of Oklahoma City; sisters: Gloria Prince and family, of Edmond, OK; and Alma Tiefenbrun and family, of Eufaula, OK; and his constant companion, his Cocker Spaniel, Snuffy. He was preceded in death by his parents; and the mother of his two children, Nellie Briscoe. A private family celebration will take place at a later date.
