July 29, 1920 - Sept 22, 2013 DEL CITY Herbert L. Shively, 93, passed away on September 22, 2013. He was born on July 29, 1920, in Cloud Chief, OK to Levi and Nelda (Grebe) Shively. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and Korea, earning a purple heart. Herbert enjoyed camping, tinkering in his shop, car shows, four wheeling and go-karts with his grandkids, and watching OU and OKC Thunder. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Juanita. Survivors include his children, Carol Whetsell (Don), Larry Shively (Rhonda), and Kathy Killam; grandchildren, Lisa Bradley (Scott), Jimmy Whetsell (Deanna), Greg Tillman, Stoli Stephenson (Matthew), Tiffany Lacore (Danny), and Kyle Fitzpatrick (Kasey); five great-grandchildren, and four great-great- grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Crossroads Hospice and Arbor House for the loving and tender care shown to our family. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at the Sunny Lane Cemetery. ww.eisenhourfuneral.com
