Dec. 10, 1922 - Sept. 14, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY James A. "Jimmy" Brown, Jr. was born December 10, 1922 in Topeka, Kansas the son of James Arthur and Daisy Gertrude (Will-iams) Brown. He completed this life at his home on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the age of 90. Jimmy proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during The Korean Conflict. He worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor and could fix anything. He is survived by his companion, Pat Walker; his daughter, Mary Linda Brown of Oklahoma City; his sister, Evelyn Seagel of Topeka, KS; numerous nieces and nephews; Pat's children, Sharon Lawrence of Moore, OK, Karen Bell of Blanchard, OK, Steve Smith of Oklahoma City, Gary Smith of Noble, OK, Paul Smith of Del City and Keith Walker of Yukon, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mary Ellen (White) Brown on November 12, 1997. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013, in the Vondel Smith Mortuary North Chapel with interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
