Jan 1, 1955 - April 17, 2014 MOORE James K Burnett, age 59, died at his home on 17 April 2014. He was born 1 January 1955 to Robert & Shirley Burnett. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debbie; daughter, Jennifer, of Moore, OK; his mother, Shirley Valenti, of Oklahoma City; also, his by four brothers, Ric Close, of Streetsboro, OH; Robert Burnett, of Moore, OK; Mike Close, of Choctaw, OK; and Daniel Burnett, of London Mills, IL; and five sisters, Vicki Papczynski, of Mustang, OK; Jacqui Sydor, of Las Vegas, NV; Susan Jones, of Moore, OK; Connie Close, of Florida; and Chrystal Angelo, of London Mills, IL; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was employed by the U.S. Air Force as a civil servant at Tinker AFB for 18 years, working as an Item Manager and then as an Equipment Specialist. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the Illinois Air National Guard, retiring in July 1995. He enjoyed reading historical books on the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln, trips to Las Vegas, spending time with his family and Harley- Davidsons. He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents. James will be missed by all! Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, in the Kenneth R. White Family Center at Resthaven Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made to the , 6525 N Meridian Ave, OKC, OK 73116.
