Nov. 21, 1927 - Aug. 30, 2014 EDMOND, OK Cal Bolinger was born in Dayton, OH to Henry Lowell and Mary Bolinger on Nov. 21, 1927 and went to be with the Lord on Aug. 30, 2014. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 40 years of service. Cal served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He was currently a member of the Edmond's First Baptist Church. Cal was also a member of several quartets, including Barbershop and Gospel. Survived by his wife Sammie of 60 years, daughters Diane Najvar and husband Mike, Susan Small and husband Thomas, grandchildren Katy Carris and husband Jordan, Evan Small and wife Mariah, great-grandsons Max and Wyatt Carris. Services for Cal will be at Crawford Funeral Service, Edmond, on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at 10 a.m. with burial to proceed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Memorial donations in the honor of Cal can be made to the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children or the Edmond's First Baptist Church.
