GilbreathSep. 14, 1931 - Nov. 9, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Lena "Lee" Benton Gilbreath, born September 14, 1931, to Grace and James J. Benton at Heavener, Oklahoma, died November 9, 2013. Lee graduated from Seminole High School and Hill's Business College. She married Don E. Gilbreath and had one son, Kellen. She enjoyed an interesting secretarial career with Southwestern Bell and Southern Bell in Memphis, TN, United Founders Life Insurance, Dr. "Jolly" West at OU Medical Center and UCLA, and Union Bank. Lee served on the Board of Crime Stoppers of Oklahoma City for many years, 25 as treasurer, and as a volunteer in the Crime Stoppers Office at the Oklahoma City Police Department. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, son Kellen, and sisters Clara Brownlee and Jimmie Johnson. Lee is survived by two grandchildren, Lauren and Kellen Gilbreath of Tulsa, and 4 nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friends Pat Darcy, June and Charlie Phillips, Mike Klika, and Don Hinkle. Viewing will be held from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Vondel Smith North, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd., Oklahoma City. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2013, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 North Kelley Ave., Oklahoma City.
