Jan 18, 1931 - April 30, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY Leo Wayne Edwards, 83, of OKC, passed away April 30, 2014. Leo was born in Sitka, KS January 18, 1931. He graduated from St. Joseph's, Muskogee, OK, and attended Rockhurst, OU and UTA. Leo was married to Mary Jo Morgan August 29, 1953; they were married 60 years. Leo served in U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the DAV and the American Legion. Leo worked as a Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst for ETMF for 20 years and at various accounting positions prior. Leo is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; children, Mike, Washougal, WA, Lynn Gilliam, Lubbock, TX, and Joe, Haslet, TX; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Leo was preceded in death by parents, Spike and Tillie Edwards; brother, Howard Edwards; and great-grandson, Hal Easley. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Valir Hospice of OKC or the . The family of Leo Wayne Edwards wishes to thank the staff of the E-1 Unit of the Norman Veterans Center. The funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 5 at 11 a.m., St. James Catholic Church, 4201 S. McKinley, OKC. Burial will be on Tuesday May 6, 1 p.m. at the cemetery, Ashland, KS.
