April 6, 1924 - Sept 19, 2013 TULSA Leucille, 89, of Tulsa, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 19, 2013. She was born April 6, 1924, in Mobeetie, Texas, to Herbert B. Jones and Omega T. (Miller) Jones. Always a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother, she was a true Prov. 31:10. Leucille married Jesse Earl Glover September 3, 1949, and established a home for their family as it grew in Washington, Puerto Rico, Kansas, and Nebraska during Earl's Air Force career. They returned to Oklahoma in 1960 and raised their four children in Midwest City. Leucille worked at Tinker Air Force Base, 1965-1975, earning W-10 status before retiring to Lake Texoma. After her husband passed, Leucille moved to Moore in 1982 and became an active supporter of Work Activity Center and Special Olympics, organizations that enhanced the life of her very special daughter, Kaye. In 2004, Leucille and Kaye relocated to Tulsa to reside at the Montereau Retirement Community. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one sister, Opal Hill. She is survived by loving family members: her children, Jesse & Kathy Glover, John & Debby (Glover) Cave, Rellan "Kaye" Glover, and Jim and Debbie Glover; her dearly loved grandchildren, Pam & Tim Doherty, Janese & Corey Williams, Dawn & Justin McCord, Carlee & Jeff Steel, Athena P. Glover, Benjamin F. Glover, Jessica K. Glover, Kristen & Wes Galyean, and Jared & Lauren Glover; 10 precious great-grandchildren; her sister, Alta Mae McPheeters; her brother-in-law, Peter G. Hill; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Eustace and Betty Buzzita and husband Buzz; and many nieces and nephews, who were very dear to her. A life well-lived, and she will be missed. Viewing will be 12-8 p.m. Sunday, with the family greeting friends 3-5 p.m. Services to celebrate her life will be held 1 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013, at the South Lakes Chapel.
