May 27, 1933 - July 22, 2014 OKLAHOMA CITY Services with military honors for Maurice Huber, of Oklahoma City, will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, July 25 at the 1st Baptist Church of Apache, OK. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Apache, under the direction of Crews Funeral Home. Mr. Huber was born May 27, 1933, in Apache, OK to Herman and Margaret Huber. He passed away on July 22 in Oklahoma City at the age of 81. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Central State University with a degree in history. He married Patricia Bailey Dec. 20, 1953; she preceded him in death Sept. 3, 2008. He worked for Sears as a buyer for over 35 years. He enjoyed restoring Mustangs, gardening and golfing. He was an avid Thunder fan and a member of the Knob Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Huber is survived by three sons and their wives, Fred and Kim Huber, Clinton; Wes and Lora Huber, Tulsa; and Jeff and Lori Huber, Oklahoma City; daughter, and her husband, Janna and Danny Charles, Mustang, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his sister, Cindy Huber, Oklahoma City; a brother-in-law and his wife; six sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Harold and Virginia Busby and girls, Nederland, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a granddaughter, five brothers and five sisters. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
