MAURICE STILES Obituary
StilesJuly 8, 1930 - April 7, 2014 MOORE Maurice Warren Stiles was born July 8, 1930, the youngest of nine children of Dr. G.S. and Mary Stiles, in Welty, OK. He passed away quietly at his home on April 7, 2014. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. He served as a minister for over 45 years, pastoring churches in Welty, Pauls Valley, and Moore, OK. He also served the Moore Police Department as Chaplain for 32 years. He loved God, his family and his church and spent his life helping others. Preceding him in death were his wife of 51 years, Irma Faye Stiles; his son-in-law, Larry Lee; and his parents. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Gaylene Stiles; his daughter, De Lee; grandsons, David Lee and his wife Beth, Trey Stiles and his fiancee Jordan Pyle, Tanner Stiles, and Sam Lee; and two great-granddaughters, Zoey and MaKenna Lee. The family would like to thank Anita Dixon and Diana Small from Visiting Angels of Yukon for their loving care. They would also like to express a special thanks to Jim Parker, Carole Rains, Vaile and Linda Lane. Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, April 10 at Shartel Church of God, 11600 S. Western, Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Impact After School Program, Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 7301 S. Walker, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
