Age 76

Council Bluffs, IA. Passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, at Mercy Hospital. Earl was born, March 25, 1937, in Iowa to Ernest and Martha Tieman Ward, and following graduation from High School, served his country in the US Army. Earl worked as a Sign Erector for Neon Products and was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Eagles Club, Elks Lodge, and IBW Local #22 of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Martha; wife Patricia Ann (in 2002); and brother Art Mass. Survivors include daughter, Cynthia Ward and friend Donny Snyder; son Michael Ward and wife Mary; granddaughters, Taylor and Spenser Ward, all Council Bluffs; special friend Eileen Seaton of Omaha; brother, Irv Mass and wife Norma Jean; sister-in-laws, Norma Mass, all Council Bluffs, June Weseen (Jack), Opal Wilson (Dale), Joyce Kern (Rick), Donna Trebilcock, Rachel Beitler (Don), Linda Rickard, Barb Rickard, and Debbie Washka (Larry); and many nieces and nephews.
VISITATION with the family Monday 6-8pm at the Funeral Home. GRAVESIDE SERVICES Tuesday 11am at Walnut Hill Cemetery, with Military Rites by VFW. Family and friends are invited to meet at the Walnut Hill Reception Center for cortege to grave. Family will direct memorials. CUTLER-O'NEILL-MEYER-WOODRING
