Murray, Jack
Age 88
Surprise, AZ, (formerly an Omaha, NE and Palm Desert, CA resident). Passed away peacefully on December 29, 2012 at Hospice of Arizona. Jack is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Kay; sister, Elaine Hautman; brother-in-law, Edward Matejcek; sister-in-law, Evelyn Matejcek; sons, Timothy Murray, Thomas Murray (Mary), John Murray, Dr. Matthew Murray (Theresa), and Joseph Murray (Sue); daughter, Molly Ferm (David); and grandchildren, Laura, Christopher, John, and Julia. Jack was born in Breckenridge, MN on October 23, 1924. Jack graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1949 and served in WWII US Naval Service, as Radarman Second Class. Jack was a Senior Executive for Henningson, Durham and Richardson for over 30 years, and served on several boards before retiring to Palm Desert in 1984. Jack enjoyed most any sport and always added his own special "spin" to gain advantage over his unsuspecting opponents. Jack also loved to play card games and became a Life Master Bridge Player.
