Mr. Ralph Vance Campbell, 55, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at his home.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Barron Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Compton officiating. Born July 12, 1957, in Chester, Mr. Campbell was a son of Bessie Guyton Campbell of Chester and the late Virgil Campbell. He was a graduate of Chester High School and attended York Technical College in Rock Hill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Schelgel as a mechanic. Mr. Campbell was a member of Fountain of Life Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of over fifteen years, Darla Beam Campbell; three sons, Scottie Campbell and his wife Iya of Hawaii, David Campbell of Lockhart and Brian Revels and his wife Samantha of Chester; two daughters, Alisha Cummings and her husband Kyle of Lockhart and Kelly Revels of Rock Hill; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyliegh, Breanna, Brandon, Ethan, Kaley, Rylan and Jaxson; two brothers, Claude Campbell and his wife Ann of Chester and Roger Campbell and his wife Gail of Seneca, S.C.; one sister, Janice Campbell of Dalton, Ga.; and his faithful friend, "Lucky."
