Neff, Charles "Bud", born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, died in Yorba Linda California April 3, 2013. Graduating from high school he enlisted in the Army Air Corp serving in World War II as a pilot. After his military service he moved with his family to Anaheim California to open Neff's Paint and Wallpaper store. During that time he earned a degree from Chapman University and then began a 30 year career in Education. |
Bud had a lifelong love of the violin and a passion for writing music. Spanning 40 years, he played first string violin in the Chapman University orchestra, Yorba Linda orchestra, and the Orange County Symphony orchestra. At 80 years old, Bud had a website designed where he could share all his music, always free of charge to anyone who wanted to download or play one of his tunes. He spent the last decade volunteering his time to help the violin students fine tune their skills at Yorba Linda Middle School.
He married Carolyn Campbell, his life partner of 61 years and she would remain his life's treasure always. Bud was most proud of his three lovely daughters Alicia, Cynde, and Kymberly, along with 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
