"Bud" Naylor, 65, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, peacefully at home in Santa Ana, CA. He was the beloved husband of Maria Naylor. He was born 1947 in Westerly, RI the eldest son of the late Rev. Elmer Burket Naylor, Jr. and Edith (Hughes) Naylor. Bud was raised in Hope Valley, RI and has resided in Santa Ana, CA for the last 20 years . He leaves behind two daughters Estrella and Esmeralda; two grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews to whom he was a father figure to. He is survived by seven sisters; Beverly Naylor Brister of Lakewood, NJ, Marjorie Naylor Rekowski, Hazel Naylor Douthitt both of Hope Valley, RI, Lorraine Naylor Ryan and Virginia F. Schnaitter both of Sarasota, FL, Deborah Naylor Farhar of Okeene, OK, Cathee Naylor Presley of Mandeville, LA and two brothers Ralph of Hope Valley, RI and Richard of Bettendorf, IA.
Bud served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he served as a Radioman. He had recently been attending Santa Ana College to become more proficient in his computer skills. He was a member of the Crystal Cathedral Church.
His servic e will be held Saturday May 18, 2013 at Family Mortuary, 1201 N. Main St, Santa Ana, CA 92701 at 2pm.
