SUSAN A. BRYAN Obituary
Bryan, Susan A., a longtime Anaheim resident, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the age of 92.

Susan was born on August 15, 1920 in the Bronx, New York. She is the daughter of two Italian immigrants, Cosimo and Luigia Villani. She lived, went to school, and worked until she joined the WAVES during WWII. Susan was stationed in Opa-laca, FL until she was honorably discharged in January, 1946. She married another WWII veteran, Ted Bryan, in November of 1947 and soon settled in Westbury, Long Island. Ted was a mechanical engineer and soon joined the aerospace boom by moving his family to Anaheim in 1959.

Susan was an extraordinary mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a passion for life and family and was always quick with a joke or amusing anecdote. She was always encouraging those around her and was very generous with the bounty from her garden and her wonderful Italian cooking.

Susan will be sorely missed and is survived by her three children, Ted, Barbara and Janice. She also leaves behind three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hilgenfeld Mortuary in Anaheim. Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass Friday, 9:30 A.M. St. Anthony Claret Church, Anaheim with interment to follow at 12:01 p.m., Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside. Rest easy Mom. Hilgenfeld Mortuary
