Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I also had not met Christine in person and I haven't been on the Cagle board for quite a while because I have been taking treatments for cancer since early March...I have been fighting it for 8 months now...I know how hard it has been on my family so my heart and thoughts go out to Christine's family and loved ones! I was so very sorry to hear that she had passed away... I will keep you all in my prayers...I know she is not suffering and she is now another 'angel' watching over us in heaven! Dan and Family,

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Chrissy, your wife, your children's mother, from my daughter and I.

I didn't know Chrissy very well, but from reading her posts over at PV, I could tell that she was a one of a kind lady. Always upbeat, funny, and nice to everyone.

I am happy that she did get to meet Steve Perry this past May. Just seeing her pictures with her smile made me smile too.

I will keep Chrissy, you and your children in my thoughts and prayers.

Dan and family...Please accept my deepest sympathies at this time. I never had the pleasure of meeting Christine, but knew her from Perryville. She seemed a loving and caring person who was always willing and able to help in any way she could. What a dream come true for her when she got to met Steve Perry in May. You could see it in the pictures from that day. I am glad to have known Christine for the short time I did. May she now rest in peace among the angels.

To Danny and the Children,
I, like many others, have not had the pleasure of meeting Christine in person. However, through the Cagleboards I was able to know her. She always had a positive word, a kind heart, and open ears to everyone. I spoke with her through emails, and she always let the light of God shine through her words. Christine is now in a much better place where she feels no pain, knows no sorrow, and can watch over you and us. With that said always remember that we can still talk to her whenever we want, and she will hear us. May God surround Christine with His warm, loving, and welcoming embrace in Heaven, and may God surround you, her family and friends with His comforting embrace as we all deal with this in our own ways. She was transformed from an earthly angel to a heavenly angel, and one day we will be with her again. May God bless you all!

Danny and the kiddos~
I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Christine was such a kind, warm, funny and loving person.
I first met her on the Cagle board and she was the first to offer warm thoughts and a welcome. In the following couple years we shared tips and laughs on everything from exercise to kids. I also enjoyed her humor and upbeat personality. She was a rare gem that I am so thankful to God that she was put in our path.
Much love and prayers to your family.

Chrissy was a great help to me when I first joined Perryville a year ago. Her patience while we corresponded was something I never forgot. She appeared to be such a loving person who cared about others so much. Her words to us on the board were always friendly and upbeat. She so loved her husband and her children. The world has certainly lost a good friend and wonderful person in her passing. May God bless and keep her family in His care.

Where to start?
I never meet Christine. I did know of her from the Chris Cagle fan club board and she was great. When I heard the news about her being sick I prayed everyday and my thoughts were always with her and the family. EVERYDAY! I sent her a card and I am hoping she got to read it. I will remember her and I still have her family and her in my thoughts and prayers. She was a wonderful person and I know the Chris Cagle fans will miss her.

I only knew Chrissy through the PV website music forum, but she was a blessing...always so sweet & warm, and helpful, a child-like spirit she shared with us, always believing in the positive thinking, she inspired me...although I did not get the chance to meet her last May, I saw the joy on her beautiful face through the pictures/video upon meeting one of her musical idols in person. She was so thrilled & happy!
She blessed people she had never even met with her spirit & she will never be far from her loved ones - a true angel.
God bless her children, her husband, her family - she was so very proud of them & loved them very much.

I thank the LORD for bringing this WONDERFUL woman into my life. I met her when I became involved with the Chris Cagle fan club, and we became fast friends. She was a caring, warm, funny, loveable woman to be around. She seemed to have the kindest heart, and was very devoted to her family, her friends, and her fan clubs :) Steve Perry & Chris Cagle :). The fact that she was such an easy person to be around, and she adored her family, was what I admired most about Christine. She always looked at the glass half full....and seemed to always know how to make me smile. She will truly be missed, and will always have a spot in my heart.....I feel honored to have met this wonderful woman.

Christine. We were good friends and I will miss you. My heart goes out to Danny, the boys and Gracie. I remember the time you crawled under my house to rescue some kittens and how you used to swim in my pool whilst miraculously not getting your hair wet. How Danny complained about how heavy my couch was when you guys helped us move. I still have a dent in my refrigerator handle(I think it was his fault). Anyway our memories are too much to mention. You were like my sister. Good-Bye.

You, Christine, were on of my dearest friends. I am thankful for every moment that our family spent with yours . Our weekend get togethers, park days, everything. I'll never forget your daring cat rescue in which you put on Donnie's dungarees and ventured under our porch to rescue kittens, lol. How hysterical it was when you'd swim without getting your hair wet. Our DAILY phone calls when you lived here in this town, oh my goodness, did our hubbies used to get after us. The almost brother/sister banter that you had with Donnie and so much more.

I'm so sorry that we didn't keep up with each other as much when you moved but somehow, when we did speak it was just like old times. You meant the world to me and I'll never ever forget you.

Danny, Zackary, Tyler and Gracie...we love you too! Our whole family sends their condolences and love to you all. If we can do anything, please call us.

I had the pleasure of meeting Christine at her first Chris Cagle meet and greet. She was so nervous and excited, and after that she became a diehard fan. I met up with her and other Cagleheads at a show this year. I only wish I had shared more fun times with her. She is a beautiful person, with a beautiful smile. From what I have been reading, she touched many many hearts. I am so sorry for her family, to have lost her so soon, too soon. Please know that I think of her and her family every single day. And I wear the "believe" bracelet, as do some others, in honor of her...
