Vorbach, David David Author Vorbach, 79, loving father and beloved husband of Beverly (Hauff) Vorbach, died peacefully at his home in Zellwood, Florida surrounded by his family on December 25, 2013 following a ten year battle with cancer. Born June 29, 1934, in Morgantown, West Virginia, Dave was the 6th child of 9 children of the late William and Lena (Grose) Vorbach. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert, sisters-in-law, Irene and Julia, and brother-in-law George Sutton. Dave retired from Walt Disney World in 1990, after 20 years of barbering on Main Street and in Epcot. Dave was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, having served 33 years for his country in the Navy and Air Force. David and Beverly were married June 27,1959 in Ormond Beach, FL. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Teresa Lynn Bracewell of Ocoee, FL, and Tammy Ann Zelnick of Apopka, FL; four grandchildren; Matthew Zelnick, Zachary Zelnick, Kristina Bracewell and Kimberly Bracewell. Dave is also survived by seven siblings, Jack M. Vorbach of Romney, WV, William A. Vorbach, Jr. of Ripley, WV, sister-in-law Katherine Vorbach, of Orlando, FL, Joseph P. (Betty) Vorbach of Morgantown, WV, Bonnie (James) Mattingly of Bridgeport, WV, Twila (Joseph) Carra of Edgewater, FL, Shonet (James) McClung of Morgantown, WV, Sharon Sutton of Palmyra, VA; and several cousins and nieces and nephews. In retirement years, Dave and Bev enjoyed camping, working in camp parks across the country during summers. At Dave's request cremation has been performed and there will be no public service.
