BRAUN, EDWARD ROBERT "BUDDY", went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2012.He was born in Biloxi, Mississippi and attended Ole Miss where he met his wife, Tissy Flanagan Braun. He served in the Korean War and then moved to Chicago, Illinois to begin a career in the automotive industry with Ferrell-Hicks Chevrolet and Bill Jacobs Chevrolet. A partnership, Windish-Braun, moved the family to Denver, Colorado.I n the late 60's, Mr. Braun acquired dealerships in Ft. Myers, FL. The early 70's brought him to Orlando where he became the owner of Braun Cadillac. Watching his two sons play football at Edgewater High School, taking friends and family fishing in the Keys on his boat, and raising cattle in Wachula were among his favorite pastimes. "He always lit up a room and had a great story to tell. Our friends loved being at our house. Our mom was an amazing Southern cook and our dad loved to regale us with happenings of the day. We spent hours around a big, round pine table eating, talking, and laughing .Our dad gave us wings and taught us to love life and the people who blessed our pathways." He is survived by Alexandra Braun, a devoted and loving wife; a sister, Betty Braun Johnson of Breckenridge, Colorado; a brother, Erich Louis Braun of Augusta, Georgia and his three children; Nancy Braun Czesnakowicz, Edward Anthony Braun, Mark Lee Braun and their spouses and eight grandchildren. A private service will be held by family. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Heifer International would be greatly appreciated.
