Howard "Howie" Barrett Notice
Barrett, Howard Howie84, of Orlando, Florida, passed away June 28th at his home. Howard was born June 25, 1930 in Edinburgh, Indiana to Roscoe and Celia (Rittenhouse) Barrett. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War and was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #100 in Edinburgh Indiana. He graduated from Elgin Watchmakers College and later from the John Herron School of Art. In 1969 he moved his family to Orlando, FL and began a twenty-three year career as an Art Director at Martin Marietta, later Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed sailing and built several boats. He was survived by his wife Betty of sixty years and four sons Marc, Paul, Mike, Doug, daughter-in-laws Melinda and Sue and four grandchildren, Bradley, Evan, Rory and Alexa. Send donations in lieu of flowers to your local Humane Society or animal shelter. At the family's request there will be no service.
