Richard D. Junkins Notice
JUNKINS, RICHARD D., passed away on January 20, 2013. Dick was born in Aurora, IL on Nov. 17, 1925 to G. Hoyt and Zelda Junkins. Dick attended Aurora College and during his freshman year he joined the Air Force, proudly serving for 4 years. In 1965, tired of shoveling snow, he moved to Florida to join Flagship Bank of Orlando as a VP in charge of Installment Lending. He left banking to become a small business owner and purchased Kerr Marine. He retired to dapple in real estate and play golf. He was a member of Rio Pinar Country Club. He volunteered at various Disney Golf tournaments for 27 years. Dick never met a stranger and everyone loved and admired him for his humor and kindness. He was a very loving family man and loved all God's creatures. He is survived by Lottie, his loving wife of 27years; son, R. Jeffery Junkins; 2 daughters, Lorri (Frank) Dempster and Shari Barker; 3 grandchildren,
Jeffrey (Christie) Fletcher, Cayce Barker and Michelle Fletcher. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Jan. 26 at 10:30 am at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church, 8601 Lake Underhill Rd in Orlando. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send donation to St. Stephen Presbyterian Church or a . Arrangement are being handled by
