HENDRICKS, George Douglas
Passed away peacefully at Saint-Vincent Hospital in Ottawa on October 14, 2013 at the age of 85. He was born in Delhi, India and served in the British 8th Army (also known as the Desert Rats) in North Africa during WWII. He will be sadly missed by his nephew Richard, and nieces Maureen, Mary and Linda and their families. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Grace (Macdonald), his brother William (Bill) and sisters Margaret and Barbara. He will also be missed by his "Canadian Family" the Serrao's and their extended families as well as by his many friends including Jenny, Katie, Ruth and David. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Theresa Parish, 95 Somerset St. W., Ottawa on Saturday, October 26 at 10:00am.
