KINGSTON, William Patrick

Peacefully, in hospital, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in his 88th year. Loving husband of 62 years to Shirley (née Sutherland). Dear father of Kathryn, Maureen, and David (Carolyn). Proud and cherished grandad of Julia. He will also be missed by sister, Dorothea Wallace (Don); sisters-in-law, Lila Sutherland (late Ernie) and Vera Sutherland (late Harold); as well as many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the paramedics, emergency room and ICU staff of the Civic Hospital for their care and compassion. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 26 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 194 Fourth Avenue, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Reception. Interment in the National Military Cemetery, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
