NORMAN F. CASTLEBERRY Wildomar, CA. Born 3/3/1925 in Okmulgee, OK. Passed peacefully onto his new life with our Lord Jesus Christ on 4/21/2014. Besides his family, his many proud accomplishments included being a decorated World War II U.S. Navy Veteran, a life-long practicing Catholic, retiring after 30 years of distinguished Federal Service with the Naval Oceans Systems Center in San Diego, California and 20 plus years as a Crime Watch volunteer on the Farm in Wildomar, California. Survived by his beautiful bride of 40 years, Scottie Castleberry, and his loving children: Linda Flinn (Michael), Lorraine Robinson (Bob), Leo Castleberry (Clare), Loren Castleberry (Betty), Leann Terlecki (Mike), Lynn Walden, Marilyn Ablott (Ron) and Melinda Santangelo. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. His beloved parents, Teresa and Orville Castleberry, his dearly loved sister, Wanda Beauchamp and his brother-in-law and lifelong best friend, George Beauchamp have preceded him in death. Viewing - April 30, 2014 from 5-9pm at Evans-Brown Mortuary, 126 E. Graham Avenue, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530. Rosary - May 1, 2014 at 9:15am with funeral mass to follow at 10am at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church, 21591 Lemon Street, Wildomar, CA 92595. Military burial at 12:15pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92581. Reception to follow at 2:30pm at Miller's Mill on The Farm at 33379B Mill Pond Drive, Wildomar, CA 92595.
