PEORIA - Tina M. Stamm, age 64, of Peoria passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at 11:52 a.m. at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Feb. 28, 1948, in Peoria to Henry L. and Ramona M. (Espinoza) Brooks. She married Clifford Stamm March of 1988 in Peoria.
He survives along with Tina's mother of Peoria; one son, Dean (Robin) Utsinger of Bartonville; one foster son, Jeff (Alison) Foster of Pennsylvania; one stepdaughter, Lori (Adam) Hofman of Pekin; one stepson, Larry (Jo) Stamm of Morton; one grandson, Dorian (Brittany) Utsinger of Hawaii; three stepgranddaughters; one stepgrandson; and two brothers, Henry (Zella) Brooks Jr. of Arizona and T. Michael (Christine) Brooks of Bartonville.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Tina was the first woman campus police officer for District 150. She worked for District 150 for 31 years, retiring in 2000. After her retirement from District 150 she continued working in various positions in her professional career in public service, last working on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, for Norwood as a part-time police officer.
She was a member of the Limestone Democrats Club.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
