George L. ARMAS Obituary
ARMAS, George L.

George L. Armas, 60, of Lake Placid, FL, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013. George was born in Havana, Cuba on May 5, 1953 to George and Dalia Armas. George attended the University of Florida and received two degrees, an A.A. Degree in Law and a B.S. Degree in the School of Architecture as a landscape architecture and finished in the top 5% of his class. He loved horticulture and was an avid fisherman. He was a loving and devoted father with a huge heart, always caring and putting his family first. George would put all out to anyone in need. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Dalia Armas and his son, Jason. George is survived by his children; George E. Armas, Autumn Armas, and Sean Armas, grandchildren; Hagen, Madison, Braden and Alexis, his uncle; Joseph R. De Armas, brother; Edward Armas, sister in law; Lori Armas, aunt; Estrella Garcia, cousins; Eileen Minnick and Evelyn Worsham, and extended family Susan Armas-Mentado, Michael Mentado and Ricky Kramer. We are all left here to mourn his death in our own ways. One thing George would want would be togetherness in family. He is now in the hands of the Lord and family members. God bless you Jorge Luis, we all love and miss you with all our hearts. We all will meet someday again in heaven. (Ecclesiastes 2:20 3 1-8) Love, Your Family. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, July 6, 2013, from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with a 2:00PM memorial service at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home 745 NE 6th Ave. (N.
