James J. TELLIARD Sr. Obituary
TELLIARD, Sr., James J.

On January 29, 2014 we bid a loving farewell to James J. Telliard, Sr., age 90, born in Cleveland, Ohio September 4, 1923. His parents were Martha and Frances Telliard and he was one of six brothers and sisters. He and two of his brothers served in the Marine Corps during World War II in the South Pacific. His early years after the war were spent in the Cleveland area where he began a business career in the laundry supply business, Merchants Linen Supply and soon became manager and then owner. His life has been filled with business adventures, which includes a four year management of a laundry facility in Puerto Rico (1950s) and his prize venture, the Oak Harbor Golf Course (in Ohio). He was also blessed with a happy 46 year marriage with Delores Telliard (deceased) and six children, James, Jr., Jeff (wife, Liz), Charlie (wife, Laurel), Debra (husband, Michael Bassett, Jon (wife, Doris) and Marscia Zaccaria, all providing him with a total of 13 devoted grandchildren. All have enjoyed the benefits and participation in his many business adventures. His last 26 years were blessed with ski trips, world travel and of course the many years of his favorite sport of all, golf. All enjoyed with love and laughter and shared with his devoted and loving wife, Ella, during those 26 years. Donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
