ROBERT EUGENE BRADLEY Robert Eugene Bradley, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was born September 11, 1922 and died peacefully August 16, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Deloise, four children: Douglas (Kathy), David (Denise), Barbara, and Robert (Susan). He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Robert was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by his parents Robert Carroll Bradley, Isla Grace Bradley and brother Thomas Gilbert Bradley. He is a veteran of WWII, joining the Marine Corp (2nd Division, M Company, 3/2) December 7, 1939. During the Pacific Campaign, Sgt. Robert Bradley was seriously wounded on Gavutu, located in the Solomon Islands. After receiving the Purple Heart, he was honorably discharged from the Corps Sept. 10, 1945. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Marines never left him, as friends and family will attest. Afterwards he went on to receive his bachelor's degree in Business from Golden Gate College. After 20+ years, he retired in 1981 from FMC in San Jose and relocated with his wife from Sunnyvale to Magalia, Ca. He enjoyed many hobbies: His favorites being photography and building model ships. Funeral services will take place Aug 29th at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, California.
