Joseph " Joe" Folwell Harris, also known as 'Pop", born February 12, 1926 in Athens, Ohio to Wilmer and Mary Harris and passed away peacefully on March 5, 2014. He honorably served our country in the Merchant Marines during WWII and in the Army during the Korean War. Joe had a successful career with Taylor Forge and Pipe Works before moving on to run his own businesses. In his later days, he enjoyed spending time on the farm with the family. All that knew him know he lived a very adventures life and enjoyed sharing his life stories with us all. He was a dedicated family man. He is survived by his wife, Hilda; sons, David, Jaime, and Joseph Jr; grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Michael, and Alicia. Visitation will be Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2PM to 5PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2PM at Grand View Memorial Park.
