BONENBERGER, Carl S.
Carl S. Bonenberger, 86, passed away on Sunday October 20, 2013. He was a wonderful father to three daughters, grandfather of six grandchildren,
great-grandfather to five and friend to many. Carl served in the
. He received his BS from Pepperdine College and Masters from CSULA. He worked as a salesman for Union Hardware and Reynold's Aluminum. He taught for the Pasadena School District for 22 years. Carl was an elected Board Member for the San Gabriel County Water District for 37 years. Carl was very active in the community and volunteered in many civic organizations. He was a Past Worthy Patron in the Order of the Eastern Star, a Master Mason, Past Exalted Ruler for Elks and Past Shrine Club President. He was Outstanding Older American of the Year for the City of San Gabriel. Carl loved building, traveling and enjoyed doing things with his family. His life has touched many and he will be greatly missed. Services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Arcadia California.
