COLBORN, Kenneth Leonard II

Kenneth Leonard Colborn II was born May 2, 1929 in Pasadena and passed away on December 8, 2013. He is best remembered for his dedication to his community, friends and family.

Ken attended Polytechnic and Webb and actively supported both schools throughout his life. He served as a Commander in the United States Navy and continued his close relationship with the Navy by volunteering for the Pasadena Navy League. Ken was an avid woodworker and donated hundreds of Adirondack chairs and tables to schools, charities and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Inglis Colborn. He is survived by his children, Ann (Chris) Pizzinat, Matt Colborn, Kate (John) Ugoretz and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Cabot & Sons Funeral Home Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity House/Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care Santa Barbara, Webb School, Polytechnic School or Arlington Garden.
