Natalia Joy Peery
October 3, 1925 - April 12, 2014

Natalia (Talli) Peery passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12th, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her San Marino home. Natalia was born in Bismark, North Dakota, and moved to Glendale when she was five. Upon receiving her B.S from UCLA, she married Richard (Dick) Peery, of Beverly Hills, a dashing young pilot and gymnast, upon his return from World War II. Together they bore four children: Cecilia, Celeste, Michael, and Deborah. Natalia taught in the Arcadia Unified School District and also founded the San Marino School of Music. Talli was a longtime board member of various philanthropic organizations, a bereavement counselor, and avid bridge player. An accomplished pianist and soprano, Natalia maintained a lifelong passion for opera. Talli is survived by four children, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her beloved brother Neil, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., April 28th, at Sts. Felicitas and Perpetua Church in San Marino. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the .
