Cyndi Langone 69, our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend died on June 30, 2013 after a battle with lung, bone and brain cancer. She was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois. She lived in Massachusetts, California, British Columbia, Canada and spent the last 10 years in Texas.

She is survived by her son Jim Langone and wife Hope residing in Massachusetts, son John Langone who also resides in Massachusetts, and daughter Jackie Applegate and husband David, residing in Pearland. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren. Lindsey Rashall and Husband Justin, Kristina Langone, Anthony Langone, Victoria Langone, Shelby Salmons, Nicholas Langone, Heidi Applegate, Cassandra Salmons and Caitlyn Salmons.

She leaves behind 5 sisters, Helen Cavanaugh, Penny Johnson, Dottie Butera and husband Mike, Shelley Church and husband Fred, Lisa Johnson and husband Mike.

She is a veteran of the Womans Army as a Communication Center Specialist serving during the Vietnam war stationed in San Francisco, California.

Cyndi was a volunteer for CHRISTIAN HELPING HANDS in Pearland, Texas and an active member of the Republic Party in Brazoria County. While her grandchildren were attending elementary school she volunteered assisting teachers and the PTA.

Memorial service celebrating her life will be at CROSSPOINT CHURCH 1134 Old Alvin Road, Pearland Texas, THURSDAY, July 4th at 11:00 am. Mr. Charles McComb will be leading the service. Thank you to him and his family for all their generosity and prayers

In lieu of flowers, our Mother asked that donations be made in her honor to CHRISTIAN HELPING HANDS at P. O. Box 34, Pearland, Texas 77588.

Special thanks to our friends and family that have called, text, sent cards, visited, prayed and sent food. Your thoughtfulness and generosity is greatly appreciated. We are TRULY BLESSED. Mom is in a better place and out of pain and that alone comforts us in our time of sorrow.
