Joseph Marion Cashiola Sr., 80, of Pearland, TX passed away on January 19, 2012 in Pearland, TX.

He was born August 4, 1932 in Houston, TX to Anthony and Mammie Cashiola. He married the love of his life Mildred and together they were married 60 years until her passing in 2012. Joe was one of original founders of the Pearland Dad's Club and Girls Softball, and was also a Pearland Volunteer Fireman. Joe was an active supporter of Pearland Youth Sports. He attended St. Helens Catholic Church in Pearland and was retired from Gerber Products Company with 36 years of service. Joe has lived in Pearland since 1966.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory, daughters Glenda Cashiola, Patty Johnson and husband Barry, Debbie Primrose and husband Luke; sons Joe Cashiola Jr. and wife Dwyla, Michael Cashiola and wife Terri; brother Louis Cashiola and his wife Linda; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 more special deliveries on the way.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Windsong Nursing Home in Pearland, as well as the staff at Fresenius Dialysis.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 23, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. Funeral Services will be Thursday January 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Poore officiating. Graveside services will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX. Pallbearers assisting will be Shawn Cravens, Ryan Cashiola, Eric Cashiola, Christopher Johnson, Brian Cashiola, Steven Cashiola, and Tyler Johnson. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in Joseph's name to the Pearland Animal Control and Adoption Center, 2002 Old Alvin Rd. Pearland, TX 77581.
