Robert L. Carlile, 66, of Bremerton, passed away on February 28, 2012. Bob was born on September 15, 1945 to Frank H. and Wilma L. (Triplett) Carlile in Houston, TX. Bob married Pamela J. Alford on August 7, 1965 in Bremerton. After serving honorably in the U.S. Navy on the USS Kitty Hawk and during the Vietnam War, Bob went on to college and graduated from Central Washington University. He worked as an engineer for Pacific Northwest Bell for 17 years and was also a business owner. Bob was a member of the Church of Christ. Though there were many interests of Bob's, those that meant the most to him were riding motorcycles, salmon fishing and photography. Bob was also a hot rod car enthusiast. Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Stillman. Bob's memory will live on with his wife of 46 years, Pamela; daughter, Terri Johnson (Carl) of Silverdale; sons, Denver (Tina) and Mike (Cindy), both of Bremerton; 3 grandchildren, Conner, Denver and Lakota. A memorial service for Bob will be held at Lewis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 10th at 2:00pm.
