David White, 64, of Sequim passed away of cancer at his home on November 8.
He was born in Pasadena, California, to Robert Thompson and Jeanne Champreux White on May 16, 1949.
David achieved his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington in 1972. He lived in the Pacific Northwest all of his adult life and came to the Olympic Peninsula in 2000.
He had worked as a civil engineer and then a homebuilding contractor. He had been retired for 15 years at the time of his passing. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with friends.
David was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
He leaves behind his brothers Tom White and Dick (Becky) White, and seven nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Timothy White.
A memorial service officiated by the Reverend William Green will take place at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 South Blake Avenue, Sequim, WA 98382, on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 2 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service.
