Frank Angeli Obituary


Frank E. Angeli, 87, of Middletown, passed away March 25, 2013. Born June 30, 1925, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mabel (Mathew) Angeli.
Mr. Angeli was a WWII Navy veteran and participated in the actions at Iwo Jima, Guam and Saipan. He was a member of the Pine Street Presbyterian Church. Frank was an avid golfer, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. He retired from Schaedler Bros. after 30+ years of service.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Joylean Joyce; and brother, Joseph Angeli.
Surviving are his wife, Mary H. (Ramage) Angeli; sons, David F. Angeli and wife Karen of Halifax, Stephen R. Angeli and wife Valerie of Hershey; brothers, Lowell Angeli of Middletown, Kenneth Angeli of Mt. Carmel; sister, Dorothy Leonardi of Mt. Carmel; 2 granddaughters, Leslie George and husband Clayton, and Nicole Angeli; and 1 step-grandson, Scott Askins.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 12:30 p.m. at Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc. 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Viewing will be from 11:30am to 12:30pm at the funeral home. Interment with military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Middletown Home, 999 West Harrisburg Pike, Middletown, PA 17057.

Frankie you will be missed by so many. We will remember always the way you loved to talk, bowl and always had time for friends. You and Mary were quite the dancers and enjoyed being with family and friends as well as being together. When you were made they threw away the mold. We will feel blessed that we were friends.
