Josephine "Josy" Licudine-Fuller passed away on April 17, 2013, after a long battle with breast cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Thane Fuller; daughter, Kimberly Licudine; son, Michael Licudine; son, Blane Fuller; and by her mother Jenny Russick. She is also survived by her in-laws, Ron and Regina Fuller and brother-in-law, Brandon Fuller. Josy also has two brothers, Benjamin Russick and Nick Russick; and ex-husband, Fred Licudine.
She is preceded in death by her father, William G. Russick, of Bowerbank, Maine.
Josy taught English as a second language in Tokyo and Yokohama, Japan for two years. She was a world traveler, who traveled to England several times and enjoyed a "Whirlwind" European tour with friends after she received her undergraduate degree in 1993. She also lived in the United States Territory of Guam for two years 2001-2003. In 2003 she moved to Pensacola where she worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a work study, then in the Release of Information (Medical Records) Department as a government contractor.
Josy is a magna cum laude graduate of San Diego State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in English. She also spent an undergraduate year abroad in college, studying for one year in London, England. In Pensacola, she graduated from the Educator Preparation Institute at PJC, as well as receiving her Master's Degree in Special Education from UWF in 2012. While working on her Master's degree she was also a graduate assistant at the Autism Center at Sacred Heart Hospital. She achieved all of this while working full time and raising her three children.
Josy enjoyed reading, traveling, and especially spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite family times were their annual trips to New Orleans to see the Mardi Gras parades on St. Charles Avenue until she was too ill to attend.

A celebration of Josy's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 04, 2013 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, Florida.
