Julienne Gibson

Pensacola -- Julienne (Julie) Gibson, 90, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 6, 2013. She was born in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Mabel and Cecil Moore and was the widow of Leonard Ray Gibson.

Julie graduated from Pensacola High School in 1941 and attended Ohio State University. Julie and Ray were married for 63 wonderful years and enjoyed their tennis, golf and travel.

Julie was preceded in death by her brother Jack Moore. She is survived by her son, Sterling Ray Gibson and wife Krista, grandsons Justin and Zachary Gibson of Allen, Texas, and her daughter Candace Gibson Bickel and husband Frederick Bickel of Lake Wylie, South Carolina. Julie also had a host of special nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

A private memorial service was held in Julie's hometown of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Ft. Walton Beach served the Gibson Family.
