Lisa "Hunny" Rena Wiscombe, 54, of Pensacola FL, went to be with our Lord on Monday, August 12, 2013 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Lisa was born in Milton, FL on June 17, 1959. She spent part of her childhood in Oxnard, CA, moved to Gulf Breeze, FL at the age of 15. She attended and graduated from Gulf Breeze High School in 1977. In adulthood she rooted herself in Pensacola, FL where she resided and called home until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Corwin and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
She was a devoted and loyal wife to Michael "Derek" Ogden. Cherished daughter of Barbara Broxson Morin, and her husband Merlin Morin. Beloved sister to Gina Rachael Simpson, and her husband Dennis Simpson. Adoring aunt to their son Ian Simpson. Loving mother to her daughters, LaGia Renee Creamer, and her husband Cody Creamer. Olivia Rochelle O'Neal and her partner Michelle Walls. Alicia Rheanne Fye and her husband Jeremy Fye. Doting grandmother to Zoe and Jaeden (LaGia), Kamden, Braeden and soon to be baby Landen (Alicia), who lovingly referred to her as "Hunny".
She was a Faux Finisher by trade, and an artist in every facet of her life. Her love of art and beauty was evident in her embossings, jewelry, garden and everything she touched.
She was generous to a fault, and her smile and zest for life were unmatched.
To describe her in one word, as she once did, would be: Driven! She was driven in work and play, raising kids, spoiling grandkids, inspiring others and especially driven when it came to loving and teaching others to love God.
She turned this ordinary life into an extraordinary one, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
God called her home, He set her free! ~Live Well, Love Much, Laugh Often~
Join us in celebrating her life Wednesday August 21, 2013 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd from 5-7pm.
In addition to flowers, donations can be made in her name to Covenant Hospice.
