1920 - 2014

Orvis Otis "Bill" Crowson, 94, of Tulsa, OK, formerly of Pensacola, FL, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2014.

Born in Blackwell, OK on June 11, 1920, Bill resided locally for the past 62 years. A WWII US Navy veteran, he retired from Civil Service, NAS Pensacola where he was an aircraft instrument repairman. An avid outdoorsman, Bill enjoyed fishing, camping, square dancing and traveling with his wife.

Preceded in death is his wife, Dorothy Elaine Frye Crowson; daughter, Norma Rose Crowson Cole and a granddaughter, Tammy Cole.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Orvis Lee Crowson (Barbara), Tulsa, OK, Frederick Hugh Crowson (Angela), Pensacola, FL, Paul Wayne Crowson (Carolyn), Simpsonville, SC, Michael Eugene Crowson (Michelle), Jemison, AL and Martin Byron Crowson (Meladee), Pensacola, FL; one brother, Max Crowson of Utah and numerous other family members.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday,September 6, 2014 at Little Flower Catholic Church entombment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the in memory of Orvis Otis Crowson.
