Dick Leach, 71, of Pensacola passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013.
Dick was born on November 12, 1941 in San Diego, California to the late Joseph and Sylvia Leach. He served with the Navy for 20 years and retired in 1979 as a Senior Chief.
He came to Pensacola with his family in 1976. After his retirement from the Navy, he worked with civilian Navy contractors.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Patricia Leach, his son David (wife Kimberly), daughter Jennifer (husband Jason), and his four grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Brennan, and Kaylen all of which currently reside in Pensacola. He is also survived by his siblings Wayne (wife Judy) of Idaho, Nina (husband Paul) of Nevada, Linda (husband David) of Nevada, and Dean (wife Delicia) of Nevada.
Visitation was at Faith Chapel on Beverly Parkway followed by a graveside service at Barrancas National Cemetery with military honors on Thursday January 24, 2013.
His family would like to express thanks to all doctors, nurses, and caregivers at Woodlands, West Florida Hospital, and Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital for their care and kindness.

Dick will be remembered by all for his honesty, wit, faithfulness, commitment, and love to all his family. He was dearly loved by his entire family. In Peace, be still and receive God's Grace.
