Robert W. Clay, Sr.

1932 - 2014

Robert W. Clay, Sr., 81, of Warrington, went home to be with The Lord on February 21, 2014, while at his residence. He was born in Macon, GA and was a life-long resident of Warrington.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He also served as a Deacon at Beach Haven Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie L. Clay.

Survivors include his children: Debbie (Jessie) McNac, Robert (Pam) Wayne Clay, Jr., Michael (Carolyn) Clay and Mark Clay; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and sister: Linda (Rusty) Carden.

A graveside service for Robert will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Trahan Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

The family wants to extend special thanks to Covenant Hospice nurses Joy, Orlando and Cindy. Their kindness will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Covenant Hospice.
