Ronald C. "RC" Miller
Ronald C. "RC" Miller passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
Ronald worked at PWC as an A/C refrigeration mechanic for 30 years and at Manheim Auto Auction for 10 years. Ronald was a volunteer firefighter and photographer with the Myrtle Grove Volunteer Fire Department from 1964-1984. He also served as a volunteer with the Escambia Search & Rescue for 20 years. "RC" was a member of the V.F.W. for five years and the Elks Lodge for 18 years. Ronald enjoyed flying remote controlled airplanes since 1982. His church of worship was the Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Reginald and Jeannette Miller and his brother, Ricky Miller.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Judy Burns Miller; children, Robert Miller (Teresa), Susie Cribbs (Larry), and Kimberly Robinson (Joe); grandchildren, Howard Leonard, Jr. (Nicole), Megan Cribbs, PFC Joseph Cribbs, Blake Leonard, Tabatha Miller, Reginald Miller, and Russell Miller.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 29 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South.
Funeral services will be at 9:00am, Friday, November 30, 2012 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with interment at Barrancas National Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons and the members of the Northwest Florida Modelers.
