DR. STANLEY AARON, age 86, of Ventnor, NJ, passed away on March 16, 2013 surrounded by his children. He was preceded in death by his parents Reba Goldstein and David Bilofsky; wives Ruth Beloff and Mollie Braverman; infant son, Bruce, and twin sons Marc and Adam; sisters Estelle Adaman, Rita Robinson and Rosetta Weiner. He is survived by his children Sam (Dale) of Swedesboro, NJ, Donna (Dan) Wood of Cherry Hill, NJ, Gail of Crown Point, IN, and Josh (Eva Corets) of Clyde Hill, WA; grandchildren Jared (Erica Metzger), Bryce, Sarah (Brian) Lloyd, Allison Wood, Rebecca Wood, Reid and Madison; great-grandchildren Zoe Beloff and Charlie Lloyd; step-children Carol Schreibman of Margate, NJ, Alan (Melody) Braverman of Boca Raton, FL and Bennett (Deidre) Braverman of Boulder, CO; and numerous cousins, especially Alvin Kolchins, nieces, nephews and friends. Stan "Doc" was born Stanley Bilofsky, Feb. 1927 in Philadelphia, PA. In 1948 he graduated from South Philadelphia High School for Boys. He enlisted in the US Navy at age 17, earning the rank of Quartermaster Third Class. He was President and Valedictorian of the Temple University School of Chiropody, Class of 1955, where he received a Doctor of Surgical Chiropody. Stan founded the South Philadelphia Ambulance Association, was Director of Podiatric Residency and Chief of Podiatric Medicine at Broad Street Hospital in South Philadelphia, and taught at the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. He had Podiatric Offices in South Philadelphia and Ventnor. Stan was a member of the Four Chaplains Legion of Honor and for many years served as a judge in the Miss Columbus Day Pageant in Atlantic City, NJ. While he had many academic and professional achievements, it was being surrounded by his children which gave him the most joy. The family wishes to thank Nancy Cahill and her children for their years of love and devotion. They are also grateful to the staff at The Cottage at Spring Hills-Cherry Hill, for allowing dad to live the final chapter of his life with dignity and honor. Relatives and friends are invited Tuesday, March 19, 2013 beginning 10:15 A.M. to Beth El Synagogue, Margate, NJ, where Funeral Services will begin promptly at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Rodef Shalom Cem. in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the .
