Virginia Beach - Born on February 20, 1957 in Portsmouth, VA. Jeanine Ferguson entered this life to serve God and bring glory to His name. She went home to be with the Lord on June 30, 2014.
Growing up in a military family, she was blessed to have traveled and lived in places such as Key West, Long Island and Virginia Beach. Jeanine received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in 1979 and joined Campus Crusade for Christ, serving in California and Washington/DC area. While in the DC area, she met the love of her life, Michael Molzahn. They were married on September 28, 1985.
Expanding her heart and enlarging their family, Jeanine and Michael have three homegrown children: Jessica, Richard and Michelle. David was born in his mother's heart, joining the family by adoption in 1997. Their newest son, Astral, became a member of the family marrying Michelle a year ago.
She was first and foremost a gracious lady who made everyone feel loved, often inviting strangers, who later became friends, into her home. She loved to entertain and was the ultimate hostess. She was always a classy, dignified lady who put God first and then loved her family as much as earthly possible.
A celebration of Jeanine's life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd at the home of Michael & Jeanine Molzahn: 3856 Larchwood Dr. Virginia Beach, VA 23456, from 4pm-8pm. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd at First Baptist Church Norfolk, 312 Kempsville Rd, Norfolk, at 11:00am. Friends and family are invited. Memorial donations can be made to the missions fund at First Baptist Church Norfolk.
