William "W.T." Coy, 77, of Shepherdsville, died on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was an Army veteran who was a retired crew caller for L&N Railroad. He was a Baptist, a member of Moose Lodge 5, and American Legion Post 229.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Cora Fishter.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Straight-Coy; two sons, Kent (Tonya) and Todd Coy; two daughters, Terri (Steve) Peden and Dina (Charlie) Creamer; sister, Irene May Harris; brother, James Coy; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his children's mother, Dorthy Coy Winchell.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, at Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial in Mount Eden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday and 2-8 p.m. on Thursday.
